The economy is even more massively fucked than envisaged even with the civil war taken into account.
Protests starting again in southern states, some of which were not particularly anti-government in years before.
Rifts within the ruling family and government because of the finances.
Turkey and Russia negotiating on ways forward this week, along with Libya in which they've also taken opposing sides.
Turkey pressing for Iranian withdrawel from the region, some areas currently held by Kurdish forces not adverse to eventual handing back to the government.

With all due respect im not an Eton educated, 250kpa columnist and politician looking to garner support from the right wing. I dont know where you live bit here in London it was quite a big story as attacks on Muslim women increased significantly after it was published.

If you haven’t seen the videos showing the reality in Dijon then you are probably speaking from a position of ignorance when you conclude that a small story tucked away on the huge BBC website is sufficient coverage.
If that is an appropriate level of coverage, then it is even more concerning given that it is an indication of the normalisation of behaviour from war-torn, third world Countries in liberal western democracies.
